Ex Machina star Alicia Vikander in talks for Assassin’s Creed and Bourne 5 roles

This has been going around for a couple of days now, however since I hadn’t seen Ex Machina–or any of Vikander’s  other work–I didn’t really have much to say about it. Now I’ve seen Ex Machina and though you can’t judge an actor purely on one performance, she was great. She was good in the role of this scared, confused, and conflicted robot. But more importantly than that, she really made you feel for the character and all her worries. I can’t wait to see what she does in Assassins Creed and Bourne 5.

I’m probably not going to go back and checkout her previous work, let’s be honest. But Vikander’s performance in Ex Machina has just given me another reason to get excited for Man from U.N.C.L.E. which she will be staring in alongside the likes of Henry Cavil and Armie Hammer. And her addition to the cast of Assassin’s Creed is just another snatch of great talent, for what may (hopefully) be one of the first decent videogame-movie adaptations.

Ah also, Ex Machina…pretty good. Check it out if you haven’t already.

And yes, I also think she’d make a great doctor evil.
