Doug Liman set to helm Justice League Dark

That’s right. Though Warner Bros. hasn’t commented on the validity of the report, Variety are reporting that Doug Liman (director of Bourne Identity and Edge of Tomorrow) has assumed the directors seat from long rumoured director for the project, Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy, Pacific Rim).

Scott Rudin is reportable set to produce with Michael Gilio writing the script.

There is one down side to all of this. Variety are also claiming that Liman has left the inevitable, and highly anticipated Gambit movie to work on JLD. Man, wha-what a shame.

Admittedly, I don’t know a whole lot about this story line from the comics. Regardless, the team originally consists of: John Constantine, Madame Xanadu, Deadman, Shade, The Changing Man, and Zatanna. Who are those people? Did one of those characters have their own movie and then years later get a tv show that was apparently not very good and is now, probably, cancelled? Who knows? There’s literally no way of knowing.

I mean…you could look it up, but why would you.

I’m really looking forward to this. It does seem very Suicide Squad-esque, however by the time JLD is released it may have been long enough to warrant a similar story line.

P.S. Man, feels good to be back. Also until I figure out how to add URLs and images when I’m posting from my phone, you’re just going to have to take my word for it and use your imagination.

    1. Thanks man, I really appreciate that, glad you enjoyed it. To answer your question; most of my best work is featured in my imagination. But other than that…yeah here, this is pretty much it.
