Wes Anderson hilariously announces his new animated film, ‘Isle of Dogs’ (feat. Edward Norton)

Renowned, independent director, Wes Anderson, has Collaborated with Crowdrise to announce his new animated feature, Isle of Dogs. Check out the video below;

Anderson doesn’t give much away in terms of plot, however we did get a glimpse of Norton’s character, Rex. The animation style looks quite like Anderson’s first animated feature, Fantastic Mr Fox, maybe just a little crisper. It’s hard to say at this point. Like I said, it’s just a glimpse.

The announcement comes with an opportunity—a raffle, of sorts—to voice a dog in the movie, through Anderson’s crowdrise campaign. Proceeds from the raffle will go towards the Film Foundation.

The Film Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the preservation and restoration of film heritage.

Isle of Dogs is yet to receive a release date, and stars; Edward Norton, Brian Cranston, Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Scarlett Johansson, Tilda Swinton, among many more.

An army of Ant-Men in new extended TV Spot?

This title may be a bit of click bait I’ll admit, it’s hard to say definitively. But there’s definitely a collective group of flying ant’s following Ant-Man out of a cargo plane, by the looks of things?

Regardless, there seems to be something on the back of each of those fly ants. If it turns out that they are indeed people, it begs the question; what makes Ant-Man so special? If literally anyone can dawn a suit and shrink down, why should we be rooting for Scott Lang? I bet it’s because of his great comedic wit.

I like the simple dismiss of the possibility of asking the Avengers for help in this spot. I feel like the message there was;

“Shut up about it!”

Which is really the best and only explanation we need.

But what’s up with the pause in music when Ant-Man clings onto the gun? I get that they were trying to make the gun shot more impactful, but it just ended up being a little jarring overall for the spot.

Anyway, pretty good spot overall and it’s doing its job which is getting me psyched to see the movie.

New images of Fant4stic arise (Really, only one interesting one)

Empire Magazine just released some new images of Josh Trank’s Fant4stic.There’s a pretty average image of the crew all suited up (presumably in the Negative Zone) and we get this really nice, up-close look at The Thing. Also, we get a weirdly sexual image of Miles Teller as Mr Fantastic, maybe it’s Dr Doom, either way I’m not getting into it.

The thing about this image of The Thing is that I really can’t picture Jamie Bell’s voice coming out of this guy’s mouth. Visually he looks great, I love that this is more of a deformed Ben Grimm rather than the smoothly symmetric incarnation from 2005, but I’m still suck at this whole voice road block for now. And I’m just saying, if he doesn’t do much talking in subsequent trailers, I’d take that to be some cause for concern.

These images do get me pretty pumped for the movie though. I really just want to see The Thing “Clobber” someone/thing already.
